#1 Awareness of balance
You have to be aware of the balance between social life and studies.
You might have heard that in order to score great in your exams you have to cut off yourself from social activities like having fun with friends and partying. But this might damage your results instead of making them better.
Whatever you do in excess can be bad at times. There is no sense in becoming a bookworm, which sounds good but is harmful in the long run.
So try to understand the importance of balance in your studies and social life.
#2 Managing your Time
This is something that you may take lightly, but all the game starts here. If you fail to manage your time effectively, nothing is going to work for you.
Managing your time will let you complete your assignments and homework on time and, subsequently, you will have more time to enjoy yourself and have fun with your friends.
Moreover, when you get an invitation from your friends, you will not have to think and worry about your assignments.
However, at times you might have to learn to say ‘no’ to your friends or ask them to postpone the walkout as you have to study as per your schedule.
#3 Stick to your schedule
You can’t get any advantage of your timetable if you fail to stick to your schedule. Many people have trouble following their timetable or saying ‘no’ to friends.
You may have to struggle with following your new schedule, but trust me, it’s worth it. Be punctual and get some short breaks from your studies for 5 to 10 minutes regularly. By doing so, you let your brain refresh and will focus more efficiently.
So be determined about your timetable and follow your brain, not your heart.
#4 Mental Health
Maintaining good mental health is crucial for maintaining the best academic performance. If your brain is overwhelmed, you will have trouble focusing. Which will lead to further stress and so you will not be able to achieve what you are struggling for.
Therefore, it’s essential to take time and participate in social events and activities that can relax your mind and throw away stress from your head.
Many students forget to prioritize their mental health in a craze to study more. It may seem good in short terms, but in the long term, you will be tortured and so, all waste.
# 5 Eat Healthy
In order to be consistent in your studies, you have to make a habit of always choosing a healthy diet. This is because you have to be healthy to study properly and get what you are reading. And you can’t be healthy or remain healthy if you are an addict to junk food.
Imagine you are not caring about your hygiene and diet and you get sick. And it takes 3-5 days for you to recover from your illness and after that you are still mentally unstable to study properly. This is why you should avoid yourself from being in such a situation.
#6 Create a Study Spot
I’ve seen a lot of students that try to study in busy environments like living rooms or in places where there are a lot of distractions. Nevertheless, they try their best to utilize their time effectively and get the most of what they read. But it’s almost impossible to focus in such environments.
I, therefore, suggest you cut off from such places and create a private study spot in order to efficiently use your time studying. If it’s not possible for you for any reason, I have an alternative for you. Get your headphones and go to YouTube. Search for ‘rain for study’, ‘music for study’ or ‘noise for study’. Choose whichever suits best for you. You can also substitute ‘concentration’ or ‘focus’ for ‘study’ in the above search terms.
#7 Set Goals
Setting achievable and realistic goals will help you stay motivated and consistent in your studies. You can read more with goals than without. For example, tell yourself that you will study specific pages of the specific subject or a whole chapter at a specific time. It will be a trigger for you to pick your book and start studying.
This will help you map your course in a better way, so you will have to study for that specific goal and then you will be free to go with your friends or scroll down on social media.
Another way of doing this is to give yourself a task to do before you can go for a walk with your friends to a park or party. This works like a reward system and you will have enough motivation to study and then enjoy yourself.
#8 Make a Study Group
This is one of the best and wise things in order to balance your social life with studies. Make a small group of your studious friends that will provide the benefit of studying alongside enjoying being among your friends. That is to say ‘one arrow; two sparrows.
But you have to be aware of any group member that causes annoyance and distracts other members from studying. One way of avoiding such a situation is to make your group no bigger than 3 or 4 members as it will be easy for you to manage.
Be very selective in choosing members for your group and keeping your group from any annoyance.
This way, as I said, you will have the advantage of both a friend's group and studying.
Best luck for your next examinations.

Thanks for your kind words. I'm all gratitude.
